On October 31st, the Senior High Student Council held their 1st annual Fun Run. Students from the elementary and grade schools arrived at the field dressed in their Halloween costumes, eager to participate in the morning’s activities. Students participating in the run completed a number of physical activities, such as hula-hooping, jumping rope, running, and a fan-favorite, the crab walk. All participants received prizes after each activity completed, and ended the morning with a three-legged race.
The Student Council hopes to continue this event in the future, and continue to teach young students about the importance of physical activity, but more importantly, how fun exercise can be.
