Cinder is the first book in the Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyers.  Humans and androids live alike in the streets of New Beijing. Scarlet is the second book in the Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyers. Cinder, the cyborg returns in the second Lunar Chronicles. She’s trying to break out of a New Bejing prison where she is supposed to await her death by the Queen’s hands. On the other side of the world, Scarlet Benoit’s grandmother is missing and they are calling off the search! Then Scarlet meets Wolf, a street fighter who has a chance of having information about her grandmother’s locations, she hates to trust a perfect stranger, but is drawn to him for some reason or another, and he to her. Scarlet and Wolf unravel one mystery after another, they meet Cinder. Now, all of them must stay out of the claws of the vicious Queen Levana, who will do anything for Prince Kai to become her husband.
