About

Panther Tales:
In recent years, Panther Tales has transitioned to a digital news site, which chronicles the goings on around our school and town, with an occasional focus on national and international news. We are a small staff of committed writers representing grades 7-12, although we are open to new members, and willing to accept contributions from non-members as well. There is always something happening at Babylon Junior-Senior High, and we will endeavor to showcase that excitement on our site.

Visions:
Visions is the Babylon Junior-Senior High art and literary magazine. We hope the value of a publication like this lies not only in the opportunity for others to enjoy the beautiful works of art shared, but also for these contributing artists themselves to look back and see who they were at this moment in time. In this light, Visions can be seen as a collective autobiography. The poems we write and the pictures we draw are some of the most honest expressions we create. So, we thank our artists for being honest in their creations and for sharing them with the rest of us.

“Above all else, it is about leaving a mark that I existed: I was here. I was hungry. I was defeated. I was happy. I was sad. I was in love. I was afraid. I was hopeful. I had an idea and I had a good purpose and that’s why I made works of art. ”
