Safe Halloween

Safe Halloween is an annual tradition here at Babylon High School. The numerous clubs that we have here unite and create a fun and exciting place for kids to come and trick or treat and have an early Halloween! The effort each club puts in to make this event enjoyable to the kids shows and is well appreciated. From the beautiful displays of decorations to the amount of candy purchased, BHS showed what Babylon spirit truly looks like at this event. Safe Halloween is so well received that some of our teachers even come back to school for the event and bring their kids with them! In past years, this included teachers such as Mrs. Schwartz, Mrs. Jones, and Mr. and Mrs. Greaney. We had the pleasure of interviewing Mrs. Greaney about her views of Safe Halloween. Her favorite thing about safe Halloween was “seeing how wonderful all the students from Babylon were at decorating and interacting with the kids,”. She also loves seeing “how responsible all of the students are and is very proud of all our hard work,”. The success Safe Halloween brings to Babylon shows just from smiles every kid has on their face when they leave the event. The people that keep coming back and bringing in new people to Safe Halloween are the reason year after year we bring back this Babylon custom.
