Our next feature has had a long journey to where she is now. She first attended Hofstra University when she was 25 years old. She student taught in Deer Park for life skills and then student taught under the direction of Ms. Collins in Babylon where she expresses her gratitude for this town. She loves the sense of community that we have here and says that she has the ability to get to know the individual families of her students due to the small size of our school. She has many unique hobbies outside of school including listening to heavy metal, watching old movies and off roading on the beach! Our last hint is that if she wasn’t an English teacher, she would be a FACS or Social Studies Teacher! Do you think you know who it is?… It’s Mrs. Jones!
