The summer before my senior year was very eventful! I attended a Law and Advocacy program at Georgetown University where I got to learn the ins and outs of being a lawyer and went on many different field trips around the D.C area; for example, a trip inside the Supreme Court! I also experienced living in a dorm for the first time, which really prepared me for college and made me feel much less intimidated by moving away from home for school. This summer helped me not only look to the future with bright optimism but also made me remember to maximize my last year here at BHS.
