The summer before senior year of high school is a bittersweet blend of anticipation and nostalgia. Spending time with friends, reliving old memories, and creating thrilling new ones. Yet, there’s a feeling of anxiety beneath the surface—thoughts of college applications and goodbyes creeping in as I realize this is the last summer we’ll all be together like this. I want to hold onto these days a little longer, knowing that soon we’ll each be chasing our own dreams, but for now, I’m just enjoying the warmth of friendship and the thrill of what’s to come. This summer stands as a bridge between the innocence of childhood and the responsibilities of adulthood, making it an experience like no other.
