One of Babylon’s newest faculty members, Mr. Drago, is a great new addition to the Spanish department. Mr. Drago finished his graduate and undergraduate school at St. Josephs. He had originally applied to med school in hopes of becoming a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgent “I was born with cleft feet, so I wasn’t able to walk when I was born, and I was lucky enough to have great doctors that fixed my feet.” Said Mr. Drago in a recent interview. After realizing becoming a doctor was not for him, he began to contemplate what other jobs can help and make an impact on someone’s life, and the first thing that came to mind was a teacher, and since Mr. Drago had already learned how to speak Spanish at 17 he figured he would become a Spanish teacher.
Aside from Teaching Mr. Drago picks up the guitar in his free time, he mostly playing Led Zepplin. Mr. Drago also explained that his favorite aspect of Babylon so far is how nice and welcoming all the staff is. Mr. Drago ended off the interview by giving a philosophy he lives by, “Something I hope you guys get out of the way I teach my class is, everything is relative, so everything means soothing different to somebody else, all truth is really subjective.”
