Mrs. Lepore Teacher Interview

Today, Panther Tales is helping give a warm Babylon welcome to Ms. Lepore, our special education teacher! Ms. Lepore played lacrosse at Furman University and her team traveled to South Africa together after fundraising for the trip themselves since as athletes they could not study abroad! She still channels her athletic side today as she likes to workout in her free time. If she weren’t an educator, she would want to be a lawyer to advocate for kids; but she chose education due to the positive influence her father had on students as a teacher and because she likes having summers off to be a lifeguard! Her favorite thing about teaching in Babylon so far is the students because they’re funny and spontaneous. Ms. Lepore also likes teaching in Babylon because its size reminds her of her home school district. Her greatest piece of advice is, undoubtedly, to “Ride the Wave!” Ms. Lepore is a tremendous help to so many students, and we are so excited to have her here at BHS!
