Favorite Course!

Calling all science students! Babylon is like other districts in so many ways. One course that makes us unique is the science research elective. Our school is one of the few that offer this hands-on class. As a research student, you will get to perform dissections and compete in various class challenges. As you progress through the course, you will begin to develop and carry out your own experiment which culminates in a science fair competition. Here, you present your findings to judges which allows you to defend your results and truly learn about the topic that you chose. As a future science major, I feel as though I’ve gained many valuable lab skills and much knowledge that has prepared me for research soon. When I originally enrolled in the class, I was unsure if it would be an extra load of boring work, yet I ended up making some of my most fun memories. I highly encourage all science lovers to take advantage of this amazing opportunity.
