Senior Hustlin’ !

High school, a place of new beginnings and a chance for independence. What better way to begin your journey into adulthood than your first job. Our village provides us with many opportunities whether it be to gain experience or just earn some extra money. As seniors at BHS, we began working at a smoothie shop called Juice N’ Blendz during our Sophomore year. We wanted to earn some extra money however it turned into a learning experience that we’ll never forget. We were taught independence, responsibility, and life skills that we will carry with us into our future. We worked on a school/work balance which ultimately strengthened our time management and prioritization skills. Many nearby places offer a welcoming and supportive environment for new employees and turn it into something you will be sad to one day leave behind. It’s important to be flexible and well-rounded before entering adulthood, and we believe that a job is the best way to do so.
