Warm Nights

      The days are getting longer,

   The nights are becoming shorter.

              Kids stay out late,

Enjoying the last rays of sunshine.

       You watch the action unfold,

  Remembering the good old days,

When you could relax and have fun.

    Remembering the great times,

An idea pops into your head.

                You start forward,

       With no destination in mind

               Because you have

             The sun on your back,

           The road under your feet,

                 And your future

In the palms of your hands.
