3rd Annual Safe Halloween

Lindsey Daily, Contributing Writer

On October 30, the Babylon High School Senior High Student Council hosted the third annual Safe Halloween food drive event for students in the elementary and grade schools. The students were invited to come in costume and go “trick or treating” throughout the school. There were fun activities in the cafeteria, such as decorating pumpkins, face painting, arts and crafts, and more. High schoolers read spooky stories in the library, and other student volunteers were handing out candy and other treats throughout the hallways. There were ten full boxes of food collected and donated on behalf of the Student Council.

Some other clubs that participated include:DECA, Tri-M Music Honor Society, SEA Interact, National Junior Honor Society, Leo Club, Babylon Buddies, Freshman Class Cabinet, Sophomore Class Cabinet, Art Club, National Art Honor Society, Foreign Language Club, National French Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society.
