Project Adventure for Student Council Members

Lindsey Daily, Contributing Writer

On November 13, forty Senior High Student Council members went to Brookville on a field trip to Project Adventure, where they participated in team building exercises to strengthen the group. The students learned different problem solving skills throughout the obstacles they faced. There was rope climbing, and other similar activities that required teamwork, and creative thinking to get through the obstacle put in front of them.

It was a great learning experience for the students to learn to solve things from a new perspective, and a fun day for the student council members, advisors Mrs. Carey and Mrs. Fama, and Mr. Marange, a science teacher at the high school. The group hopes to use this experience to build unity among student council members, as they serve the school community at large.
